The #27 Replacement Battery Cartridge from APC is a maintenance-free sealed lead-acid battery with suspended electrolyte. It offers a capacity of 864 VAh and an expected battery life of 3 to 5 years. A: Sorry, I ended up returning the battery and didn't get to use them as my APC unit was broken. Wish I could be of further help.

I've purchased less expensive replacement batteries for our SmartUPS units. At these other retailers, while they were always advertised as APC batteries (or something very similar), what I would receive weren't genuine APC products. They would also typically last only a year or two at most. What I received from B&H was a genuine and new cartridge and batteries from APC. Labels for a free return for your spent cartridge is included (just go to their website). Also, a tip, use a pencil on the cartridge to indicate the date. When you have alot of UPSs to keep track of, it's nice to know how old a battery is at a glance. 5

When the battery in a UPS goes out, there isn’t much of a warning. My UPSs are all pretty old, so there’s always the fear of not being able to find a replacement battery. When one went out recently I found a replacement battery for it in seconds at B&H, in stock and ready to ship. Had it in a couple days. 5

Responding to an overload alarm on my APC UPS CS-500, I had to remove the battery to make it stop, and discovered the battery case had split along the corner. Order replacement RBC2 battery from B&H at a great price knowing they respond and ship quickly. Battery arrived the next day, well packaged. UPS was back on line in minutes .
