It features one HDMI input and two HDMI outputs that support all HD, SD, and VESA signals up to DCI/UHD 4K30 12-bit 4:4:4 or DCI/UHD 4K60 8-bit 4:4:4 at 18 Gb/s bandwidth. It also features 3.5mm analog stereo and optical audio outputs for de-embedding audio from the HDMI stream to alternate audio destinations. It can also down-convert output from 4K to 1080p based on EDID identification.

The unit features a buffer system that manages HDCP 2.2, EDID management, TDMS reclocking, signal regeneration, and CEC disconnect.
