to squeeze more life out of that extra MagSafe adapter you bought for your previous MacBook Pro. The old adapter stays home, the new adapter in my bag, so I'm never on the road in a panic, and never at home with my only charger left behind. 5

I have four (4) old Magsafe cables from old MacBook Pro models through the years. Now that I have the latest model (Mid-2015), I was wondering if I'd have to pay big $$$ to get more (one for the office, one for the house, one for my laptop bag so I'd never be without..., yes, it rhymes). But this little $$item means I can use all my old cables over again! I have one new Magsade cable that came with the new MacBook Pro, the rest of the cables remain where they are, with the addition of this small item. And the magent is tight, so there's very little risk it'll get lost! 5
