Bullet Train's 10K Premium Active Optical HDMI Cable with Cleerline SSF Fiber Optics is built for mission critical environments where stability is key. By delivering data over Cleerline SSF fiber optics alongside copper wire, Bullet Train AOC Cables deliver 48 Gbps and a high-frame rate signal with much lower latency—up to 20% less than a passive copper HDMI cable. These cables are ISF (Imaging Science Foundation) Certified, the name to trust in picture quality and calibration. Tried and tested, and fully CMP/Plenum rated, Bullet Train cables are highly engineered to be a long-lasting part of any audio/video system.

With this new format of HDMI, users are able to reach data rates not seen before. This allows these cables to not only double the highest frame rates seen on HDMI of 60 frames-per-second (fps) to 120 fps, but push it even further allowing some resolutions to push the signal to 240 fps, bringing all of us closer to human vision on screen.

This HDMI cable supports a variable refresh rate (VRR), which becomes extremely important as we push the limit of frames per second. VRR allows the display to match the speed at which frames are traveling through the HDMI cable. This ensures the timing at these extremely minuscule measurements are displayed accurately and efficiently.

Bullet Train cabling comes from a family of HDMI Testing and Display Calibration, which is why Bullet Train can offer Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) certification on every single cable they sell. ISF is a leader in scientifically accurate display coloring. When you run a signal through this HDMI cable, you are seeing the vibrant colors the content was mastered in.

Advancing resolution from 4K to 8K and beyond to 10K pushes the limit of what is capable in screen technology. This HDMI cable can handle signals with many more pixels than previously thought possible. The cable can now account for 44,236,800 pixels on screen at the same time.

Q: 1. Can this be used to automatically calibrate an LG consumer OLED display?

A: The Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR Converter does not have a HDMI connection. However, you can use HDMI to SDI converters. Yes, the Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR Converter could work and calibrate a connected display. Please note you will also need a colorimeter like the following model. Q: 2. Can this be used to convert an URSA Mini 4.6k to Ethernet and connect to the Studio Converter for Tally/Talkback/Program Feed with camera?

A: Unfortunately Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini IP Video 12G will not work in the way you are inquiring about. This device requires a pair of them, 1 as a transmitter and the other as a receiver connected to the same network and configured to communicate with each other.

Q: 3. Hi,We have Sony FS 7 , 4K cameras & 4 k upgraded FOR A HVS 110 switcher,We want to use this for 4 K Live production, we want your guidance on converting the 4K Hdmi output from Sony FS 7 camera to 4 K quad input of our FOR A switcher....with minimum of 70 mtr cable length,We are thinking of going for Teranex Mini - HDMI to SDI 12G - From camera end & re-converting to 4 k quad output with Teranex Mini - 12G-SDI to Quad SDI - at the switcher end , is it feasible to this with 70 - 80 mtrs of cable length with this converters, will it take this load for minimum 5 - 6 hours of production, will it gets heated up beyond permissible limit, If it can take this load which cable you will recommend,Pl give us your technical opinion & options,RegardsShashikant

A: The equipment combination should work, but you'll have to place both converters at the camera end. So you'll need to make 4 runs of RG11, from the 2nd converter to your FOR A quad input. You can't run the 2 6G lines 80 meters, so that's why you need to do both conversions and run 4 3G lines. Make sure you check the coax RG11 for the exact spec, because they do vary, but should be able to take 3G to at least 100 meters.

Q: 4. Does the Teranex Mini IP support the Blackmagic Videohub Ethernet Protocol (aka Blackmagic Videohub Router Control Protocol)?

A: With the Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini IP Video 12G, a virtual videohub can be created using the Videohub software that supports the IP video converters.

Q: 5. Need to breakout 8K video to an 8K TV via HDMI, and down convert to HD via SDI for Flanders Scientific BF210. Can this unit manage that? Would plan to output video signal from Decklink 8K Pro to the Teranex Mini.

A: It cannot output to an 8K TV and an HD SDI monitor at the same time. You will need an additional converter/Scaler for the Flanders Monitor.

Q: 6. Can you use multiple of these in adjacent rooms?

A: Multiple sets of the j5create Wireless HDMI System (196.9'), B&H # J5JVAW53, can technically be used in adjacent rooms, but there may be interference. It would be advisable to separate these systems as far apart as possible.

Q: 7. What is the ethernet port for on this unit?

A: It allows you to connect the Teranex Mini to a network. Connecting the Teranex Mini to a network will allow you to control the unit remotely from a computer.

Q: 8. Does the Teranex Mini scale the output?

A: No, this Teranex Mini model doesn't scale the output.

Q: 9. can this unit circumvent dhcp ?
