Looking for a battery-powered, portable PA system with wireless microphones? Then check out the Pyle Pro PWMA1090UI, a dual-channel, 10" 2-way 800W system designed to provide convenient reproduction of vocals and music for DJs, musicians, announcers, singers, and performers at clubs, parties, seminars, and trade shows.

The PWMA1090UI is equipped with an iPod 30-pin dock connector that charges your iPod or iPhone and lets you play your favorite music, while four 1/4" inputs on the front feature their own volume controls for a total balance of sound. Any other digital music player can be easily connected using the retractable 3.5mm cable. Listen to AM/FM radio, or insert an SD card or USB stick to listen to MP3 and WMA files.

The system can operate wirelessly, as it runs on a rechargeable battery for up to 5 hours on a full charge, and includes a bodypack transmitter with a lavalier and headset microphones and a wireless handheld mic that operates up to 100'.

The 3-way speaker design including a woofer, midrange, and tweeter to deliver full-range sound with clarity and power. Tweak your sound using the bass and treble controls, and apply an effect with the echo knob. The telescoping handle and caster wheels make transportation simple and easy.

A: You are correct. The bare-wire terminals are for passive speakers only. There is no 12V DC power inlet.

A: Yes, the audio out is a line level output. We were able to pass audio to a secondary PA system to provide additional volume in a large outdoor space. Your recorder should be able to record from that output.

This portable PA system is just what I was looking for. It's light and easy to travel with- about the same as a rolling carry-on bag. It came with all the necessary accessories including lavaliere and wireless mics that transmit very well, eve through walls. I also really appreciate that it's chargeable, so you don't always need access to a plug. Overall, I feel this was a fantastic purchase and I highly recommend it. 5

This has been a fantastic unit. We needed to provide audio for a crowd of ~100 in an open area for a flag raising ceremony, and this fit the bill. No power was available, no problem, the battery took care of it! The only real gripe I have is, there is a fair amount of digital noise if a cell phone is sending/receiving data while sitting right on top of the classic 30 pin iPod dock.� It's a fantastic unit, I'm hoping to order 2 more next year. 5

We bought this system for a retreat we were having, instead of renting a system, and we couldn't be happier with it. The unit is easy to transport and easy to set up. And the sound quality was very, very good. The only thing we didn't care for was the way the wireless mic fit on the presenter's head. We couldn't figure it out at first, and when we did, we thought it was a little wonky (it seems to go behind the head rather than over the top). But that's a small matter. Everything else was great. We feel we got a great value for our money. 5

We got the PA System for a school meetings and small events. It was used for the first time in an event that was held at the school gym, around 200 persons participated, sound quality and amp power were great. The system is light and has wheels,easy to bring to any room. 5
