Q: 1. How do you apply to this item with sachtler fsb 6?

A: This product has the proper connections to connect directly to the FSB6 Head. It is compatible. If you are having issues with this product feel free to email us directly at askbh@bhphoto.com.

Q: 2. Will this adaptor work with the Canon 600EX-RT?

A: Yes, but the flange is a little shallow so you have to make sure to seat the flash carefully and then use the locking lever or it can pop out of this cold shoe. I had a 600EX-RT hit the floor after falling off a lightstand, so I know from bitter experience. The weather proofing around the 600EX hotshoe makes it hard to insert into many conventional cold shoes in my experience. I moved to RRS FA-QRCS2 cold shoes that fit the 600EX like a glove, but they're expensive and B&H doesn't carry them (yet)

Q: 3. Will this be compatible with the Peak Design POV Capture Mount? By the looks of it, the prongs are on the wrong side of the gimbal, just like on the Removue S-1.

A: While it will physically connect, we are not sure about how well it will sit when used with the POV Capture Mount. This is something you would need to test out to see the results.

Q: 4. Doesn't come with hex/Allen key - what size allen key do I need to attach to FSB8?

A: A 2mm hex key is required. This assumes you will be able to remove the (completely unncessary) M4*6 set screws in the side mounting holes. I called Sachtler's US branch and was told those screws are Blue Loctited in. Why Sachtler would do this for screws that need to come out is a mystery. Despite my best efforts using heat, tapping, and lots of torque, I couldn't get those screws to budge. Unforutnately I stripped the heads and had to drill out the screws and tap new threads. Caveat emptor.

Q: 5. How wide is the center opening of this u-mount? I want to put a 6" telescope in it.

A: This unit can handle a lens or telescope with a diameter up to 6.4".

Q: 6. Is it possible to create 360 videos using only 2 e mount cameras such as a6300?

A: While it is possible, it would not be recommended as the video would likely have a lot of distortion and you would also need to do all of the stitching and software editing yourself. It can be done but 360 cameras make it a lot simpler and easier.

Q: 7. Will this micro adjust fit on a RRS BH55 ballhead with quick release panning clamp?

A: Yes, the Slik SMH-250 Micro Adjustment Mount should fit on most Arca-Swiss clamps. But the clamp should not be a lever but a twist knob. The lever ones are so precise that there is no room for error on the third party built in Arca-Swiss plate.

Q: 8. Will this accommodate a Nikon D7100 with a Nikkor 18-300mm/f3.5-5.6G lens?

A: While this may be overkill for the 18-300mm lens, yes, the above gimbal would be compatible for use with your camera. Do note that gimbals are often designed to be connected to the tripod mount bracket on the bottom of large telephoto lenses.

A: The the DJI Accessory Mount for Pocket 2 & Osmo Pocket will work for the original Osmo Pocket.
