A: They are different. Pro DC is subscription-based. Pro is a one-time purchase. A: If you already have an existing installation of Lightroom 6, a new installation of the CC version will not impact it and you will have two separate installations.

A: The Adobe Creative Cloud (12 Month Subscription, Download) is not activated until you user activates it, so you should be able to purchase the software and then wait to activate the subscription at the time of your choosing.
