The white PRX415M Two-Way 15" Passive Speaker by JBL has an asymmetrical enclosure shape, allowing it to be used as an FOH main or a wedge monitor. The PRX415M houses a 15" woofer and a 1" polymer diaphragm compression driver for 300W of continuous power capacity. The 90 x 50° horn provides smooth, even coverage in both vertical and horizontal orientations.

The PRX415M features combo connectors that accept both Speakon NL-2 and 1/4" TS connectors. A passive crossover network provides accurate sound reproduction. For use on a tripod or over a subwoofer, JBL's dual angle pole mount socket is integrated into the cabinet design. The socket can tilt down by 10°, allowing a mounted speaker to still obtain optimum audience coverage.

The enclosure is constructed of birch/poplar multi-laminate hardwood and coated in JBL's rugged DuraFlex finish. The distinctive 16-gauge steel grille is CNC-machined for precision. The grilles are internally lined with an acoustically transparent screen to provide additional driver protection and give a professional appearance.

A: No. The JBL SRX815 15" Two-Way Bass Reflex Passive System is a passive speaker, so it needs to be connected to a power amplifier. Depending on the subwoofer you select, if it is passive, it will also need to be connected to a power amp, while an active speaker has the amplifier built-in. If you are using a mixer, the mixer's output will connect to the input on the power amp(s) and the speakers will connect to the output from the power amps.

Q: 7. I'm not familiar pass through. If I have an amp sending 600w out the channel, and then two speakers are connected, will the power be halved? Or will each speaker see 600w?

A: If your amplifier is a stereo amp (two channels), at 600 watts per channel at 8 ohms, then it will be appropriate for two of these speakers. Great Loudspeakers, anyway u like it. Recently bought 2 of these bad boys, for my rack system, performance is at its best, when u set your stereo components to the levels best suited. Very happy, everyone should have a pair.. yippee!!!! 5

Great Speaker, I have used a pair for spoken voice and ambient music in a 500 people hotel conference room, multiple weddings with bands, I must say I would prefer to use it 2 per side in such situation or maybe have a more powerful system, but is a versatile box, very powerful, don't expect long throw but it will handle even open air fairs in the near field of it with voice and recorded music. Maybe not the best form factor for corporate but its powerful enough to handle most events. 5

Powerful, lots of capability in the highs, great sounding, very clear makes me thing of a giant studio monitor, only with more presence and more lows, excellent for 100 - 500 people corporate events, will handle indoor wedding bands, for 200 people, better use 2 per side. SRX818 cant handle the high frequency capacity of this box, that's what i test and thats what my jbl vendor had even told me beforehand, he suggest me the dual srx828. 5
