This definition of soft light... Right here. Yes, source size and distance determine softness. Yes, larger size boxes require stronger light sources inside to produce the same output. This box at 4ft is more than enough for most applications. Think about it... Most houses have 8ft ceilings... This box covers half that span. Most women are in the 5ft range... This box covers most of that height. This box has a quick release system that makes setup and takedown easy. Without this easy takedown system...I wouldn't have invested in this light shaping tool. This tool is missing two things: an easy way to insert gels and an essential grid to control light spill. Other than that it does come with an inner and outer diffuser and a case. If you have a 600 wat led... It's also pretty sturdy!! This is one of your best options for large soft low spill light. B&H got this out to me lightening fast! 5

A really solid softbox which is easy to setup and take down. The quality seems really good and I expect this will last a long time. I planned to use this in my home studio for filming talking head video and also for live-streaming. It's a little to large for my space so I ordered the P90 and it's perfect. I'm keeping this to use in my portrait photography with my Godox AD200 strobe. 5

Ok this soft box is big if you didn't already know and it's amazing. Gives a nice even light across whoever im photographing. Only thing which took me awhile is to set up, but with a quick YouTube search you'll figure it out and it's quite easy. 5

This thing is huge. Does it give out big, soft diffuse light? Yes, and it looks good. It is just very long from mount to edge. It takes significant ceiling height. Recommended just be aware. 5
