I initially tried the Google WiFi and had difficulty keeping it working, So I tried the Ubiquity Amplifi. This was so easy to configure and appears to be working very well. I need it to get WiFi throughout me property and I have no apparent issues.

Great signal, replaces 5 Wi-Fi boxes all over the house and outside.

I purchased this kit for a large ranch house and purchased an additional HD router for a guest house in the backyard using an ethernet wired backhaul. It was fairly easy to setup and configure, including updating the firmware on all 4 devices. It's working great with good coverage in both houses so far!

I had a Netgear Nighthawk set up in roughly the middle of our house, but we still had some places with poor WiFi performance. I saw this on one of the B&H daily specials so bought it. Setup was very easy, just run the app and plug in the central box, set a name and password and wait a few minutes for updates. The meshpoint units are easy as well, just plug them into a power outlet and they do the rest. The WiFi is now great throughout the house. In one of the previously bad spots using the same laptop I went from unreliable with the Netgear to 70 MBps. The only thing I don't know at the moment is how these units hold up over the long term.

To explain why I love this router I need to explain the issues I ran with another product. I've been using the Google WiFi for a while but I had some major issues with it. The biggest problem was that it's dependent on Google's infrastructure and when it was down, so was my home network. The 2nd problem was with my need to use my home WiFi in bridge mode to allow access to devices on my wired network, printers for example. To do this with Google WiFi I had to give up the mesh capability which defeats it's whole purpose.

Now AMPLIFI AFi-HD. First of all it's doesn't rely on an external infrastructure to work. Second, it support mesh network in bridge mode, hence solving my access issues.

In addition to this package I also purchased an additional mesh point to better cover my home.�My home Wifi is now extremely fast and reliable. I have 100% signal strength in most of my home and no point in my 2 story home has less than 87% signal strength. I have no problem streaming 4K video from Netflix with speeds up to 65+Mbs while keep using other devices on the network with no noticeable slow-down.

I am now waiting for the release of the Teleport which is supposed to make it possible to take my network on the road.

Upgraded from the original Amplifi to this. Faster, Stronger, all around. The mesh antennas are quite big in size blocking a side by side connector.

I am an IT consultant and have installed over 100 of these for home based clients. Super easy setup, performance and reliability. If your house is not wired with network drops, this is the ticket. Highly recommend.

It couldn't have been simpler! Within 10 minutes I had everything working. Totally impressed with the packaging, instructions, and NO FLOPPING ANTENNAS to deal with. Getting great signal strength throughout my house.

Easy to set up. Replaced and extender with this mesh network. This is vastly better.

I have only run across one other router in my lifetime that was this easy to set up and get running. Apple seems to be no longer in the business of updating their routers anymore. This is a great replacement on many levels. Nice design. It looks and acts like it was built by Apple.
I only added 1 mesh point and I can find no dead spots in a 2 story 3000 sq. ft house! Impressive!
Setting it up for most folks is easy. My only words of caution would be if you know more than the average person and like to dig deep into your routers settings and tweak things, do your homework to make sure AMPLIFI has what you need. They are still actively adding features to please those folks.
