A: As long as I know Benro make their monopod and tripod standard. That piece of 3 legs have some silver pins between the blue and black part, it tie them together. By pressing that pin to the inside it unlock the leg and you can then lift it up. I am using one of those wrist saling to peoples on shows, it have fluo color inside. u can add one to prevent the legs to re-open and lock back in place. I think this answer one of your question. The other one I think is about your monopod. The rubber part that you put on the ground is srewed in. So unscrew it and place it in secure place. Then screw the 3 legs at the same place. Keep an eye on it cause sometime it unscrew if not tie so hard.Hope it help.
