This is the best bang for the buck that I have found when it comes to mounting a digiplate to a solid rolling stand. For me, a laptop stand is now as essential as the tripod is to the camera. You can always mount your digiplate to another tripod but this is less likely to get accidentally kicked and knocked over. This stand is built like a tank, yet still portable. 5

Surprisingly compact when folded up compared to the previous version. Like all Matthews stuff, this is professional-grade, bullet proof, well-designed stand. Note that the spigot cannot be removed. 5

This is the Mathew's slider stand with one more riser and wheels. It's well made and I expect it to last decades. The wheels prevent the legs from fully closing but it's not a big deal. Not sure if the base is wide enough to support two monitors if you added a double header. The wheels seem to work well on smooth surfaces but may have issues rolling if you use it outside on less level ground. I'm glad I bought this versus cheaper options. 5

This is my second purchase of this model and it is not the low price leader but quality comes with a cost. We use it with a custom mount to hold on camera teleprompters ranging from 12" to 20" units in front of separate tripod mounted cameras whose tripods are not rated to handle the additional prompter weight. The rolling stands are beefy / heavy and that translates into more stable units less likely to tip over without a fight. We are extra cautious and supplement them with shot bags. The wheels are easily locked and also unlocked Great product and highly recommended. . 5
