Add a compact viewfinder to your Pocket Cinema Camera 6K or 6K Pro with this Pocket Cinema Camera Pro EVF from Blackmagic Design. The EVF is designed specifically to fit into the EVF slot on the 6K Pro, and it locks using an integrated M4 screw. When in use, it turns off the built-in touchscreen LCD, so you don't accidentally change settings while using the EVF. The display provides a 1280 x 960 resolution image on its crisp micro-OLED display.

The display provides a variety of overlays such as status, meters, and settings in the blank areas above and below the camera image. It accepts input frame rates up to 60 fps and 24-bit RGB color for a clear representation of your image. Its glass diopter features -4 to +4 adjustment, and the display also features a digital focus chart. It can swivel up to 70°, and a set of four eyecups are included and provide compact, medium, cinematic left eye, and cinematic right eye configurations.

Been using this thing nonstop. Black Magic has done a good job! This body definitely needs rigging though. If you're trying to shoot right out of the box, know that the battery life is absolutely horrid. I run on v-mount which is definitely the route to go.

For the past year I've been shooting with the pocket 4k and 6k. I would have one for gimbal and one for handheld and locked off shots. I love the 4k and think it's a great value but the 6k has a slightly better image and I HATE adapters. I had 2 systems going. MFT glass and full frame or asp-c. It kinda became a headache. When the 6k pro was announced I was immediately interested but wasn't quite ready to sell the 4k and all my MFT glass. A few weeks later I took the plunge and I'm glad I did!!!!

I bought the EVF and Battery Grip. Both are great value. I wanted a camera I could just grab and go. No ND filters. No mattbox. No external monitor. No follow focus system. ETC.

So with the 6k Pro I can put on a camera strap and go out wherever without too much attention getting drawn. The built in ND filters are great. I wish they went to 10 stops but for the money 6 stops is great.

The new articulating screen is great. I haven't had the blue tint problem. The screen is bright and I can even see it with sun glasses on.

I already loved the pocket cinema camera line but this is just so much better IMO.

Getting back into video/film after a small 15 year vacation. Being a cinematographer/videographer for over 25 years. I hate to sound like the old guy, but yes I've been around this business since the dinosaur days. I haven't had much time with this camera, but I love it thus far. For the price it seems to shoot a great picture with the right lenses. I do like the professional camera feel (ease of use). I have tried shooting here and there with "DSLR" type cameras, but they didn't feel like the pro cine cameras I've worked with in the past, where as this so far has more of the feel I'm use to. I personally am a believer in "buy what works for the job." This camera seems to have what I personally need. The image is close to some of the more pricey cameras out there. But from years of experience in the digital world, I realize a $50,000 camera can be out of date in just 3 years. Guess I would rather have a $2500 out dated camera than a $50,000 out dated camera. But once again. To each their own. I'll shoot with it a bit more and give all my brothers and sisters out there an update. Keep the love real, and support each other. Take care.

Hardly a "pocket" camera, unless you have giant pockets, but really loaded with great features. I wish the screen flipped around since I do a lot of self videoing, but a great camera!

Been using Blackmagic cameras for 10 years now and have enjoyed each one despite their idiosyncrasies. However, the 6k pro for me has finally cracked the formula and is the best camera by Blackmagic to date. The NDs are well designed and have no image degradation, the mount, while old by modern standards, has the largest compatible lens line up and has no electronic connection quirks that I've found. The image sensor has phenomenal dynamic range and paired with the built in raw codecs is capable of recovering incredible detail from even the most botched recording job. 10/10, will be using this camera for the next 5 years at least.

Very impressed with this system. Coming from only shooting motion on Canon DSLR and Mirrorless, the Black Magic system takes some real learning, the menus are excellent as are the features. You need many batteries to shoot on location and a lot of available storage.
