A: Yes, your Canon EOS R Mirrorless Digital Camera with the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens with lens hood in reverse is 8.5'' long it will fit perfectly in the modular camera /gear storage of the Lowepro PhotoSport BP 24L AW III Photo Backpack.

Q: 2. Can this bag fit a Canon R5 with rf 24-70f2.8 attached and a rf 70-200 f2.8 in the camera compartment ? Thank you.

A: Lowepro PhotoSport BP 24L AW III Photo Backpack (Gray/Black) camera compartment measures 7.09 x 3.94 x 9.06 in. I would recommend placing the items on a table as they would go in the camera compartment and measuring length, width, height to see if it would fit.

The Lowepro Powder Backpack 500 AW is a better fit for your camera equipment or the Lowepro Photo Active 200 AW Backpack if you prefer the side access over the padded hip straps.

I bought this bag specifically for taking my camera on day hikes. While the compartment for the camera is a little smaal, it takes not more than your camera with lens attached and one more lens (which is enough for me when hiking) the bag sits very well on your back and it is great to be able to attach the camera to the straps leaving both your hands free for climbing the rocks. It is also great to have the option to put a hydration pack in the bag. I can wholeheartedly advise you, reader, to purchase this bag.

This is a fantastic bag! I can hike all day and it feels like I'm not wearing a backpack at all. I use a Canon R5 with an RF 70-200mm f/2.8, so it's not exactly the lightest or smallest rig out there, and I also carry the 10 essentials of hiking with me at all times. The camera with the lens attached fits (barely) in the camera cube, but it's easy enough to get in and out. I am a big guy at 6' 2 and 275 lbs. but it's still comfortable to wear. My only minor gripe is that the harness and clips that come with the kit are a bit short for someone of my build, so if I'm carrying the camera attached near the sternum strap, it's pretty close to my face. For the average person, this wouldn't be a problem. 10/10 recommend!

i love this backpack. you can pull the camera bag out for short trips, or wear the whole thing for longer ones with lots of room for lunch, a warm layer, whatever else you want to bring hiking etc. it's a little bit tall - i'm 5'1 and the bag is clearly sized for someone at least 3 taller than me in terms of how the back panel sits, but i'm used to that kind of thing and it is slowly starting to conform itself to my contours, so i think once it's broken in, i won't even notice that. it's super sturdy and lightweight - by itself, it feels like the bag weighs nothing; with the camera in and some hiking gear in the top compartment, it's well-balanced. the camera bag by itself is sturdy and cushions the camera well. it's not sized for a ton of gear - i'm carrying one camera body and two lenses, and they fit perfectly and feel well-protected and easy to carry.

I really wanted to keep this backpack, but it is too narrow for a Sony A7 and a Tamron 150-500mm lens. As a wildlife photographer, I really wanted to keep my long lens ready to go in my bag. Fortunately, the Photo Active BP 300 is a tiny bit wider and works for my use.

This backpack is more suited for hiking and has more storage for hiking gear than the Photo Active BP 300. On the flip side, it's at least 1 narrower and has significantly less built-in storage for camera gear.
