[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the new Samsung 55” S85D OLED and I have to say I’m quite impressed with it. I’ve had other OLEDs from different manufacturers for years and this is a highly competitive product. Out of the box, the packing alone is a nice touch, with the panels having a perforation for ease of removal. There’s a subtle curvature on the back of the TV itself (what they call Contour Design), as opposed to other OLED sets with a very thin panel alone…I always get nervous handling most OLED sets but this gives a lot more confidence. Setup was a breeze, with great integration to my AppleTV box. Picture quality is phenomenal; vibrant colors, deep blacks (as expected with an OLED) and no ghosting….the panel completes with other ‘higher end’ sets and punches above its price range. Sound quality is similarly great, with some neat bells and whistles including built in Atmos and a proprietary Object Tracking Sound Lite feature that makes the action sound wonderful. All in all, highly recommended. It’s my first Samsung TV and won’t be the last.

We were looking for something that all seats in the living room would have a good view of the TV and upon reading the differences of OLED vs. QLED we opted for the OLED. No backlight display and 180 degree viewing angles made it an easy decision to do. This is the 3rd Samsung TV in this home and we have another 3 in our Dallas home.

I like this brand so much that I have 3 of them in different rooms and sizes. The Smart TV features are great and I like that I can tap into the internet with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Movies look amazing in a dark room thanks to its near-infinite contrast ratio, with deep uniform blacks and bright highlights, with no distracting blooming. HDR content looks incredibly vibrant and lifelike thanks to its wide color gamut and high peak brightness in HDR. It's also excellent for watching shows in the day thanks to its high SDR peak brightness and superb reflection handling, and sports look fantastic thanks to its excellent uniformity and fast response time. It's a fantastic TV for gaming, with low input lag and a nearly instantaneous response time. It also has an impressive array of gaming features, including HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and variable refresh rate support.

The contoured design makes it look so good in my room while providing the best viewpoints out there. The color is amazing and when watching shows I am just blown away. The new real depth enhancer makes the picture feel like you are right there in the action while watching your favorite series. It makes watching action scenes feel so real . I also love that it up resolutions old. content to make it the best picture possible. I watched Breakfast at Tiffanys and was surprised how good it looked, considering how old of a movie it was. The sound is also incredible. I had never used Dolby Atmos before and not sure I could ever go back, it is wonderful. The Object tracking sound feature is also very cool; it helps make the sound feel like it is moving with the picture, it is an incredible feature i actually never knew existed. The TV is so thin and very easy to install. I really love all the features it also comes with. It is very wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new TV. It is also very reasonably priced considering that he quality and what you get out of it! The OS this system uses is not my favorite but again that is really minor of a knit pick, because i do not use OS to stream content and use other products.

The actual tv is very lightweight. and sleek. The setup is super easy. There are so many things to watch on Samsung tv that there is no need for cable or streaming. You can watch live tv, movies, or listen to music. The remote is easy to figure out. It's a beauty to watch.
