This versatile Compact AC/DC Charger from Watson charges NB-6L, NB-6LH or DMW-BCM13-type lithium-ion batteries via the included, dedicated battery plate. The charger runs on 100-240 VAC power, allowing for worldwide use. It features a foldout, two-prong US plug and is supplied with a European plug adapter and a 12 VDC car charger that plugs into the auxiliary power outlet. This makes it ideal for use both at home and on the road.

The Compact AC/DC Charger features a USB-A output for charging MP3 players, phones, digital cameras, and other devices with a USB power input - even while charging the camera or camcorder batteries. The battery adapter plates are easily interchangeable, so the charger can also be used with other batteries when paired with a dedicated battery plate, available separately.

Panasonic Lumix z540 said original battery could only be charged in camera with supplied cable. Got this charger with a spare battery. Charged up spare just fine, and when I put it in camera and placed original battery in charger, that seemed to charge just as well -- though I haven't had a chance yet to put it back in camera and see how long it goes before needing another charge. 5

The Panasonic Lumix does not come with an external charger, so I saw this as a necessity to have a spare battery charged when the dead one is swapped. I do not like plugging my camera into an outlet, I prefer plugging in my battery. 5
