A: Yes, on my sample, the leather pad is free to move from side-to-side, along the narrower main strap. Complete removal could be difficult, because the pad can't slide past the place where the strap attaches to the camera. For complete removal of the pad, it seems the pad needs must be cut off with scissors, or a knife. Bear in mind the current strap may not be quite the same as my strap, because more than a year has passed since I bought it.

A: The plastic buttons on the side fit into the notches and you can make the strap longer or shorter that way

A: It is designed for carry with a strap. It has cutouts for the strap to pass through. It also has a short lanyard so you can attach the case to the strap while using the camera so the case won’t get lost.

A: This was designed specifically for the Ranger and Echo carts.

Q: 9. Will this strap fit a Leica R6 or F-E?

A: I have one on my Nikkormat FTn, which is not small, so I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't fit just as well on a Leica R6. And it's long enough to sling over both my neck and shoulder and carry it behind me . . . in normal clothes. But it probably wouldn't be long enough to do the same thing with a heavy bulky jacket on. If I were really skinny - maybe.

Q: 10. Can it fit a Leica M240 fitted with Summilux 50mm (with lens cap)?

A: Even though i use it with a M10 and the Summilux 50mm Asph it should work fine with the M Type 240. There is still some gap in front of the Summilux with the lens cap on. Bought another one for the Q recently because it's just a very nice product. All the best Harald
