This gimbal is amazing! High quality product with excellent software and app support. In addition to all of the usual, common things gimbals can do - this also has repeatable motion control. This drove my decision over other brands by far. DJI makes solid products and this is at the top of my favorite tools. Only thing to be aware of, is that lens length and weight is a huge factor in whether you could properly fit and balance this gimbal. If your lenses are on the larger/heavier side - then you should explore other options like the Ronin S. The idea behind this gimbal is to lighten your overall weight load so you'll have less fatigue when using for extended times. I fly this on top of a monopod so I can set it down and rest when needed.


The battery can only be charged when connected to the gimbal. Come on DJI - make a quick charger mount like what you have for your drones! It's not a problem though - you'll likely no run a battery down under normal circumstances.

I just sold my Moza Aircross 1 before going to this one. During unboxing, you can really see the difference in the build quality. There were much more parts with this kit and the components are thicker and more robust. I have no regrets getting this one for my A6500. Highly recommended for any filmmaker.

This is a great gimbal for someone who has never had a gimbal before. Super easy setup and definitely stabilizes your footage. I love it.

Bought two of these for a live streamed fundraiser gala we produced. Everyone was blown away by the image quality, auto focus, and features. We have loved the gimbal kit and all of the flexibility it offers.

This gimbal is built well and works perfectly with my mirror less camera. It’s easy to balance and assemble. The focus motor works great with my cine lenses.

The gimbal, after you balance it, is great. Watch YouTube videos they're a bunch. Just make sure your cameras battery is fully charged when it's time to shoot for real. It's a little bit of a pain to take off gimbal and change battery and then get back to work. Focus work brilliantly and is suprising how well it works. Gh5 users... please make sure the battery is full and the card... if not you have to break it down to access them... not fun. All said, it's great for both business and busy work.
I would buy again.

is it compatible with Fujifilm Xh1 ?

Using for A7III and works great. Not so sure how it will work with longer lenses, though it works with small primes

This thing has so many features and is so much cheaper and lighter than the Ronin S.
