Q: 1. Does this paper have much of a "curl" to it? Some heavier papers are almost unusable when I get to the end of a roll in my Epson 4880.

A: All papers will have a slight curl that will straighten out over a short period of time. This paper should not have any issues.

Q: 2. After printing on this paper, do you use any kind of finisher or sealant to protect the print? If it matters, I'll be using an Epson surecolor printer and manufacturer pigments.

A: It is not necessary to use any finisher or sealant to ensure longevity of a print printed on the Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique II paper. If you plan on having this displayed uncovered for a long period of time, you may want to use something. But for most standard usage this is not necessary.

Q: 3. Has anyone been able to compare prints on these papers with the glossy/satin versions?

A: For photos that are going to be moved around, matte will be better. Not only is it less sensitive when it comes to fingerprints, it's also more resistant to light and doesn't create any reflection. Images with dark tones will have much more contrast.

Q: 4. Can l use for canon 1000?

A: This would work with the Canon PROGRAF PRO-1000 printer, but you wold not have any ICC profiles for it.

Q: 5. can Epson metallic luster paper be used with R1900 printer?

A: Sally, I have the Epson 3880 but I would think if your printer can print to 19 inch it should. Make sure you download the printer profile for the paper.

Q: 6. What media type setting should be used for this paper??

A: Most Canon printers will have a setting for this paper. It depends which printer you are using and if not Canon there is a setting for other paper that is pearl or luster I would use that. Or make a few small tests at different settings to check which gives the best results.
