Designed for electronics in your home or office, such as computers and related equipment, the Back-UPS BVN900M1 Battery Backup & Surge Protector from APC provides clean battery power when power is interrupted or fluctuates outside of expected levels. In the case of a power outage, it can provide up to 1.6 minutes of runtime at max load and 9.8 minutes at half load. It also provides an output capacity of 900 VA / 480W, nine total NEMA 5-15R outlets (six battery backup & surge and three surge-only), an input voltage of 120 VAC at 60 Hz ± 5 Hz using its 5' cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug, and a surge energy rating of 490 joules. Its sealed lead-acid battery is maintenance-free and can be recharged in 6-8 hours. Three of the battery & surge outlets and spaced widely to accommodate larger plugs, and there is also a 2.1A USB Type-A charging port that is MFi certified for smartphones and tablets.

To help ensure a long operational life, APC backs this UPS with a limited 3-year repair or replace warranty for the APC unit, a limited 1-year battery warranty, and a limited lifetime $75,000 equipment protection policy.

A: Thank you for your interest in our products. The BN1350M2 is the same model as the BN1350VA. The BN1350VA is just the family name for the BN1350M2. The BR1350MS is different from the BN1350M2 because the BR1350MS produces a pure sine wave both on and off battery. The BN1350M2 would have a pure sine wave while the UPS is online but when the UPS goes to battery it would be a step approximated sine wave. The BN1350M2 should work with most equipment but some equipment requires the pure sine wave both on and off battery like the BR1350MS produces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the APC Back UPS, 750VA/410W, Tower, for a week now and so far I have been extremely impressed by the consistent power that has been supplied to my PC and peripherals. The product is extremely easy to use and install and I have had absolutely no issues. I live in an area where power can be a little inconsistent and this ensures that my PC is protected from the power surges and brownouts that we see on a regular basis. The UPS has for regular plugs that are located on the back, my only complaint about the product is the spacing of the plugs. The outlets are placed far too close together, which means that for plugs that are large (my monitor for one), it is impossible to plug in without causing issues when plugging in other plugs. To resolve this issue, I had to use a regular extension cord, which is not ideal. The box also has a usb and usb c, outlet on the front, which is perfect to charge phones, headphones etc., without worrying about power surge's ruining your items. The product is made from high quality materials and I like that it comes with a three year warranty, which hopefully means that it will last for at least this long. Overall this is a great product that I do recommend to others, my only complaint is small and is a common feature with other UPS's, but I do wish companies would take the issue into consideration. Overall the product works as intended and does a fantastic job of protecting my expensive electronics. 5

I have this unit setup with all of my networking gear. It's small enough that is out of the way, but big enough to provide many outlets. The battery will power my network for about 5hrs, running at about 60watts. 5

I purchased this battery because we lose power a few times a winter in the Northeast and I was sick of worrying about data loss with my NAS. Two weeks after receiving this and setting it up, our power went out. My NAS was able to shut down gracefully and I now have piece of mind. 5

I purchased three UPS units. Two are for computers and one for our router and TV. The hookup was easy and fast. There have not been any power outages, so I can't comment on that. However, I do not expect any issues. 5
