Connect to peripherals while powering up your laptop with the Universal USB Type-C Docking Station with 60W of Power Delivery in black and gray from Targus. Four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a Type-C port accommodate wired accessories. Connect two 4K displays or a 5K display via two HDMI 2.0 and two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs. Along with an RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port, this dock also incorporates a 3.5mm combo audio port supporting headphones or a mic. Connect to a host via USB Type-C using the included cable. Or, use the cable's tethered adapter to connect to a host via USB Type-A.

Utilizing an AC adapter, this dock supplies up to 60W of power to a connected laptop. Furthermore, the angled design of the dock allows for angled typing and passive cooling while maximizing desk space. Use the Targus Enterprise Software Suite for easy deployment and management. A Kensington Lock slot is also present, allowing this dock to be secured with a compatible lock, available separately. The Targus Universal USB Type-C Docking Station is compatible with Windows, Mac, Chrome, Android, and Linux Ubuntu operating systems.

I bought this because I own an Asus Chromebook CX5601 and I wanted a way to dock it and use it with a double monitor setup. This docking station has enabled me to do this seamlessly. This has enabled me to connect my Chromebook with two 4K monitors, a USB keyboard and mouse, and a webcam, and all of it works quickly and flawlessly. Excellent docking station. 5

It's amazing how many ports this thing has! After searching for so long for a good Chrome OS dock I think I've found the best one. PROs: - Detachable USB-C host cable. Makes it easier to set it up and longer lasting. - 3 video outputs make it really futureproof. - Firmware upgrades that require no 3rd party software and can be done with Chrome OS. CONs: -The power output is enough for most Chromebooks and Chromeboxes but it may lack power to drive and charge other devices. 5

The included power supply powers my lenovo without issues and charges very quickly. The dock was plug and play. I love that it has multiple ports for each monitor. You can connect each monitor as HDMI or DisplayPort unlike inferior docks out there. The usb 3.0 ports chargers very quickly. The dock driver was installed and detected quickly by Windows 10. No issues running 4K monitors with this dock. 5
