The WiMi6220 Wireless 3G-SDI & HDMI H.264 Encoder/Transmitter from Nimbus pairs with an optional WiMi6220 receiver as a point-to-point Wi-Fi transmission system with a 4921' range and only 80ms latency. With both units featuring built-in 5 GHz Wi-Fi, no additional network connection is required. This model can be powered using the included V-mount battery plate or via the 2-pin LEMO power connector for continuous power.

The transmitter encodes and sends up to a 1080p60 SDI or HDMI signal as an H.264 encoded signal, and the receiver decodes and outputs it as video. The transmitter is also capable of multicasting to up to four receivers at the same time over the same range and with the same near-zero delay.

An Ethernet port, which allows for CCU/PTZ camera control, can also be used for wired connectivity and 1080p60 transmission to the receiver via Cat 5e cable. The WiMi6220 transmitter also features an RS-422 interface and a two-way talk-back audio jack. With a corresponding audio jack available on the receiver, the talk-back port allows connecting a headset mic for communicating with talent. The WiMi6220 transmitter offers a 1/4"-20 mounting thread on the bottom.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. The first paragraph states less than 1ms latency, a few lines later it states 80ms latency. Can you confirm the latency of the ZO600S and whether it would be appropriate for focus pulling?

A: The latency of the Shimbol ZO600S SDI & HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System is around 80 ms, we would not recommend using this system for focus pulling.

Q: 2. Does it transmit Start \ Stop trigger via SDI?

A: The Lilliput WS500 Wireless Video Transmission System can control Start / Stop functionality exclusively from the App controls: "App Display Controls Use the Lilliput app to adjust controls like focus peaking, exposure, zoom, markers, and start/stop recording"

Q: 3. What's the maximum distance?

A: This system has a Line Of Site range of 2000 feet or 600 meters.

Q: 4. Can this link a smartphone running Snapbridge to a Nikon Z8?

A: No, the smartphone link feature for the Accsoon CineView HE Multi-Spectrum Wireless Video Transmitter is intended to work with the Accsoon Go viewer app, for live video monitoring.

Q: 5. Is the HDMI pass through from this transmitter clean enough to feed an Atomos recorder rather than use the recorder output?

A: The signal from the Accsoon CineView HE Multi-Spectrum Wireless Video Transmitter's HDMI loop out is very good. The signal will be the same as the output of the camera minus the fact that it can drop out based on the elements, something that will never happen with the camera's direct output.

Q: 6. What happens if you try to send a 4k 60p signal (such as from an a7siii) through the transmitter? Does it come through as 30p?

A: The input format of 4k 60p is not supported. It must be one of the supported input formats - UHD 4K: 30/29.97/25/24/23.98 when using the Hollyland Pyro S 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System.

Q: 7. We record the BMPCC 6k into the ATEM Mini (1080p) via HDMI. Would you recommend it to make the recording wireless? Quality?

A: In this price range the Accsoon CineView HE is very reliable, and the video/audio quality is quite good. The CineView HE would work with the Black Magic Pocket camera 6K's HDMI output.

Q: 8. What is the latency of the signal?

A: Cine-Gears does not list latency. The only state "your video and audio signals get sent at industry-leading speeds from A to B." Since the B&H reviewers make no mention of latency and seem please with the performance of the equipment, we will say that you probably will be too.

Q: 9. How many transmeter I can connect to wireless video receiver. And whats the cost single wireless transmeter. Thank you

A: You can only connect 1 transmitter to a receiver. However you can connect an Unlimited number of Ghost-Eye Receivers to a single transmitter with this product. This is a new product and we do not have just the receiver available for individual purchase at this time. However we would imagine it will be available in the near future.

Q: 10. Has anyone used this with a C300mk2? Ive seen a few other systems that had compatibility issues with the Canon.

A: While we are not aware of specific testing, this system should work with the C300 Mark II. You will just need to make sure you are outputting an HD Signal from the camera. It will not process a 4K signal.
