The 21mm f/1.5 Lens for Sony E from TTArtisan is a classic manual focus wide-angle prime lens well suited to landscapes, room interiors, street photography, and more. It features a bright f/1.5 maximum aperture, allowing it to be used in low-light situations and providing finer creative control over depth-of-field. The combination of five high-refractive index elements and one aspherical element provide sharpness and realistic color transmission throughout the image area. The integrated lens hood reduces potential lens flare for optimal color saturation.

Nothing wrong with the lens...set the sensor to 1:1 and vignetting is gone. Good colour.

Only taken it out a couple times but it's a great lens for the price. I've been buying manual lenses recently to try different styles of photography on a budget and this one is probably the best. The aperture ring is smooth with gentle clicks at each stop, I found the focus ring motion to be smooth with a slight resistance that's the right feel. Photo quality (if you can get your subject in focus at f/1.2) is really quite good, very clear and sharp in the center, minimal loss of light or detail in the edges.

Great lens. This is my second TTArtisan lens and I love them both. Everything I've read and have learned from courses I've taken has said to get off the auto mode. TTArtisan has made it easy for me to transition to manual mode. This is my second lens the 40mm f/2.8 being the first. I really like both of them and plan on adding to my TTArtisan arsenal. Thank You.

This is an incredible ultrawide angle lens! The corners are sharp enough, and the coma is minimal for how fast this thing is.

Most professional reviewers used the Leica M Mount version of this adapted to Sony E, which introduces significant coma and a loss of sharpness (Due to Sony E's filter stack). The Sony E Mount version is just wonderful, and is ideal for working indoors, as the lens is sharpest with the highest contrast at portrait distances.

Sharpness decreases at MFD, as well as at infinity, but by F/2.8, there's no spherical aberrations/glow to speak of. Shoot at portrait distances to really make the most of this thing!

There is some field curvature, but focus peaking makes this easy to get used to!

And for anyone curious: This lens is sharper at F/1.5 than most vintage lens are at F/5.6. It's incredible! Blows away my Tokina, Tamron, and Olympus ultrawides. If you're looking for vintage color, build quality, and handling, but want modern sharpness and image quality, then this is my recommended choice. Infact, this lens is cheaper than most ultrawide vintage lens, despite being new with superior optics!
