A: No you won't be able to. This piece is designed for the Nikon D750 not the D780, the D780 has a different footprint than the D750.

A: Unfortunately, the Field Optics F68 head-disk does not fit onto the Oben CT-3585 tripod's center column.

A: Kirk and RRS have a QD socket on the bottom where you can place a strap with a QD connection, to carry the camera from the L bracket on a strap. Unfortunately, the Field Optics Research L-Bracket for Nikon D750 Digital Camera does not have a QD socket.

Q: 5. Is the up-and-down tilt movement tightened by twisting the long handle?

A: Yes, the long handle on the FPH-200 controls the tension on the tilt.

A: This L-bracket is for use without a battery grip attached to the Nikon D750 body.

Q: 10. Should this be used on a sandy beach? If so, which basket would be best on sand?

A: Field Optics Research Large Tripod Spike & Basket Kit will work well at a sandy beach. If it is very soft sand the snow basket will work well. If it is harder sand then the mud basket will work better.

I own a couple of these cases for my various tripods. They help me keep track of my timer-remotes. Very handy in the field. It is well constructed and flexible. My Fuji and Olympus fit in the case very snuggly--sometime a bit too tight and the shutter release is triggered. It is worth $14.99 that B&H charges. I am happy with this product. 5

Having someplace to keep your remote safe and at hand was always a problem. (Which pocket. Did I drop it?) This case attaches easily to the leg of my tripod and fits my remote nicely. Glad I got it. 5

I like this case, it seems well made and fits my PixelPro TW-283 remote perfectly. The strap on the back is elastic with a rubberized grip to help it stay put on the tripod leg. I wish it had a belt loop and/or a D ring at the top, but it works as intended. 5
