This Mitchell Base Bowl Adapter from Kupo easily adapts your Mitchell mount tripod or dolly for use with a 150mm bowl tripod head.

This adapter doesn't require any tools to fits onto your Mitchell base support system. While designed for use with Mitchell base tripod legs, the bowl adapter also provides the capability of rigging tripod heads with 150mm bowl mounts to hi-hats or cheese plates; Kupo has enabled this feature by machining the aluminum adapter with five countersunk holes for simple setup.

A: The nominal 3 wheels are in fact 2, 15/16 diameter. From the floor to the underside of the square arms (in other words, the height of the complete wheel assembly including its swivel mount) measures 4, 19/64

A: The manufacturer states that the dimensions of the Kupo Runway Stand Base are 4.69 x 6.06 x 5.2 inches (11.9 x 15.4 x 13.2 cm). The MFR only lists the length of the unit when closed/folded; the closed length of the base is 17.25" (43.82 cm).

Q: 5. Will this fit a GVM C stand

A: Yes, as long as the unit is based on a 5/8 receiver which it should be.

Q: 6. Can this accept the Wave 2 jib?

A: No, the Kupo Mitchell Base to 100mm Bowl Adapter does not fit the Proaim 10' Wave-2 Video Jib/Crane Arm because it does not use a Mitchell mount.

Q: 7. Will Matthews C-Plus C-stand or other brands fir in the 2K kupos receiver -- because they don't fit in the Kupos runway base stands??

A: The Kupo Mitchell Round Mounting Plate with 1 1/8" Junior Receiver should accept 1 1/8" junior pins.

Q: 8. Will this fit onto the Dana dolly system?

A: I can't imagine how this runway stand base would work with a Dana doll. This is a roller base. Insert a C-Stand riser column into it's receiver, and you've got a rolling light or monitor stand. Very sturdy and a good buy.

Q: 9. Would this work with an Avenger C-stand?

A: I have purchased two of these stands thusfar...and although they are well made they DO NOT fit the average c-stand 1 1/8" riser?? We have 3 different ones here (Impact, and avenger) and none of them fit into the receiver? When I threw a caliper on the Riser and the receiver it is indeed two different sizes.

Q: 10. Will this work with a flashpoint c stand?

A: It might, the column from each brand will vary slightly in thickness it might be a tight fit or not fit at all.

I was very confused by the conflicting information that I was getting when trying to determine if this base works with Avenger risers. I called BA&H support and they confirmed that it should work fine. Based on this, I purchased it , and I am glad I did. It works just great with the risers from my Avenger turtle base light stands. The product is well built and the wheels roll very well on wood and carpeting. I am quite satisfied with the quality of this base. 5

After a car wreck earlier this year I had to admit that my back isn't as young and durable as before. These rollers are perfect for the super heavy Kupo cstand. Way more durable and rugged that I expected. I thought they would only be useful in studio, but I've taken them on two location shoots and super grateful I did. These are awesome and it'll be the best $100 bucks you'll ever spend. 5

I got this and another brand and they are both excellent. This is very smooth and folds up nicely. What makes this better is that you can remove the riser column and be able to put this in bags or cases with no problem. I'm actually going to buy more of both which says a lot. 5

After discussing with B&H support, I purchased this Kupo Runway Stand Base as a way to easily move my Impact Turtle Base C-Stand around in my studio. This base was so easy to install and it has come in so handy! I love that I have the ability to easily move my equipment but also that the wheels lock in place when I need them to. 5

I recently purchased new studio lights which are much heavier than my old ones. Moving them around my studio was very difficult until I purchased this runway stand base. I attached my c-stand pole to this base and now I can move my light around with ease. I will be purchasing another one in the very near future. 5
