The Cable Techniques LPX-SR-12R is a thin and lightweight cable perfect for interconnecting field gear like Lectrosonics, Sound Devices, Zaxcom, Zoom, and many others. Built for the rigors of indoor/outdoor location work, it features black shells, gold pins, and an extremely flexible, crush-resistant, tear-resistant, and cold-resistant PUR Polyurethane jacket that's only 3.2mm in diameter.

The 12" cable is terminated with a straight XLR-3 female connector (with a red ring) at one end and a low-profile, right-angle XLR-3 male connector (with a red cap) at the other.

Low-profile connectors considerably reduce the weight of your rig and allow for beautifully organized setups. They can be disassembled and repaired on the fly. You can adjust the low-profile XLR cable outlet orientation to either 3 or 9 o'clock. The cable is assembled in the USA.

Q: 1. Is this compatible with the ninja V?

A: The Kondor Blue Straight D-Tap to DC 2.5mm Right-Angle Cable (15") BH #KOBDCTPRA15S is compatible with the Atomos Ninja V 5" 4K HDMI Recording Monitor BH #ATNINJAV. But this is not a locking DC cable. Best to use the: Atomos D-Tap to DC Barrel Coiled Cable - B&H # ATOMDTPCB2

Q: 2. Will this work with the lightening Cable that comes with Iphone, or do you need to buy a Iphone lighten cable with a female Trrs?

A: Yes. This Rode SC4 will allow a microphone to connect to a phone. It would still require an Apple adaptor B&H # APLAADAP

Q: 3. Can I use this to hook up an external mic to an iphone 8?

A: Yes you can.

Q: 4. I just purchased an SC4 3.5mm TRS to TRRS adaptor hoping to connect my Apogee Element 88 to my iPhone 11. My signal chain looks like this - MacBook Pro - Apogee 88 - TRS RCA Cable - SC4 3.5mm TRS to TRRS adaptor - to Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter. The iPhone is not recognizing the mic. Is it possible to use SC4 3.5mm TRS to TRRS adaptor with and RCA cable line out?

A: Upon looking at the Element 88, we notice there are no RCA outputs on the unit. You may be referring to the 1/4'' outputs on the back of the unit. If this is correct, and the cabling is as you suggested with 1/4'' outputs from the ALT out, then technically signal should pass. You may need to look at your DAW outputs and ensure you are sending signal to the ALT outputs and not just the mains. An alternative to that many adapters would be this cable, used from the 1/4'' outputs, and connected right the the Apple lightning to headphone adapter BH #SEIPSUMTS3.

Q: 5. Hi, I need an adaptor to plug in a stereo microphone into an Android device. My android device does record stereo through its internal mics. So I just want to record using an external stereo mic, will this adaptor be suitable for that purpose?

A: Hi, yes the SC4 is compatible with stereo microphones, however both left and right channels will be combined to a mono signal as is the standard with TRRS inputs, which only have one single mic input channel.

Q: 6. It seems as if the description is incorrect. Timecode cable is not a Fisher connector usually but BNC or similar. Is there a mix up?

A: On the RED KOMODO, the 9-Pin Extension port carries the Timecode signal. If you need BNC for Timecode, get the RED DIGITAL CINEMA KOMODO Expander Module. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1570780-REG/red_digital_cinema_720_0058_komodo_expander_module.html?sts=pi&pim=Y

Q: 7. Can I use this to connect to a MACBOOK PRO?

A: Yes this will allow you to connect any of the VideoMics with a standard 3.5mm TRS output directly into your MacBook Pro.

Q: 8. Hello I have a 2016 MacBook Pro running Mojave. I want to use the Rode SC4 to attach the RodeLink Filmmakers lav mic. Will it work? Thank you

A: Yes

Q: 9. Can I record audio from my PC external audio jack to my iphone 6s headphone jack using this cable?

A: Yes you can.

Q: 10. Will this allow me to connect my Ipad Nano 7th gen with a TRRS jack to a regular 3.5mm stereo TRS cable?

A: I just ordered this ... I found that just any TRS male will not work with my new Note 8 which is TRRS female. Apparently, the internal brush contacts are misaligned just enough so that it isn't 100% compatible with TRS male (in my case it was from older Bose headphones).
