I bought this headlamp almost 3 years ago and it’s still going strong. The rechargeable battery lasts me approximately 24 hrs on medium intensity and it doesn’t seem to have degraded at all. Only problem was that over time, the battery clip got too loose and finally broke off after an accidental drop for about 6 feet, but all I have to do is buy a new battery. This lamp is definitely worth the price. 5

It works perfectly. I bought two, so that one can be kept charged at all times and ready to swap out when the other needs charging. I think the ability to do this battery pack or AAAs is exceptional. 5

ZX800 battery works just fine as do all Coast rechargeable lithium batteries.They offer decent run times and and std discharge while not being used is slow which is a good thing. 5
