A: It is ok. Air comes in on the top sides and out the back of the computer. It does not block either set of vents. It does tend to push the hot air up the screen instead of out a gap in the back. I have not noticed it except when doing encoding or watching HD movies. Most of the time the Mac does not need a lot of venting it is only when running flat out that the fan even spins up to where you can hear it.

A: Hi,I have had my BookBook case for my MacBook Pro for a year and a half, and it has been wonderful...never given me any problems and it still looks as great as when I first got it. As far as ventilation goes, it does stay warm, but honestly, I have never had any problems with my Macbook getting too warm with this case, and I use my computer non-stop for my business...I cannot report any issues, and I would highly recommend this case...
