Bought this to replace the short Thunderbolt 3 cable that came with the OWC Thunderbay. Made placing the Thunderbay on the floor behind my desk possible. No change in data read/write speeds. Quality cable. 5

These are some powerful cables. Using with a Thunderbolt 3 eGPU adapter this cable works great. Performance is good. Have not tested transfer speeds for storage but I don't use it for that. Allows for communication necessary for external GPU functionality though. framerates are appropriate for the GPU it's being used with. daisy-chaining works without issue. Seems like a sturdy and powerful cable. No complaints. 5

You get what you pay for. In this case it's speed. My Thunderbolt drive has the cable built in so I tested this with my 2TB SanDisk Extreme SSD (USB C) and got a write speed of 917.8 MB/s and a read speed of 897.8 MB/s. For the test I used Blackmagic's Disk Speed Test. I'm confident that when connected to a Thunderbolt 4 device that this cable will be insanely fast. 5

With everything having USB-C connectors, everything from Thunderbolt 3/4 to 10GB/s USB cables to simple USB charging cables I needed to make sure I hade suitable cables to go between my Thunderbolt 4 Ports, ... hat did not break the bank.
