A: According to the IOGear website, there is no size limitation. I have used it successfully with 32gb and 64gb cards with no issue.

Q: 5. Can this media cardreader (for digital cameras )be erased or reformated so that the camera card can be used again ?

A: The StarTech USB 3.0 Flash Memory Multi-Card Reader/Writer with USB-C has slots for different kinds of memory cards. It does not have memory and cannot be formatted. The memory card is removed from the camera and is placed in the card reader to download the files to your computer. You should always format the memory card in your camera.

Q: 6. Can you transfer the files onto anything else besides a PC?

A: Don't really know, but, it is poorly made. I ordered 2 and both didn't work correctly. Took a while to even insert a card into it/ Not recommended/

Q: 7. can it read UHS-ii cards?

A: While a UHS-II card can be used in this reader, there will be reduced speed.

Q: 8. Will this work on Windows 10?

A: Yes, this will work for Windows 10.

Q: 9. Will this read an old SmartMedia SM card?

A: Unfortunately, the Vivitar 50-in-1 Memory Card Reader / Writer cannot read SmartMedia cards.

Q: 10. Does this card reader work with IOS devices now that iphone 15+ models have usb-c?

A: Yes, the IOGEAR USB Type-C Duo Card Reader/Writer will work with the iPhone 15 and any models with a USB-C port.

Fast and easy uploads. Uploads 10 times faster then transferring from camera to computer. Good size and can take all the right cards. Functions well and is reliable. 5

Years ago I bought an IOGear memory card reader/writer and used it a lot! It finally gave out so this was my replacement. This one works great! The format options on it have been updated from the original one I bought. 5

Very versatile card reader, I have only used the SD slot, but works just fine. Has so many slots, it will probably be the only card reader I need for quite some time. 5

All PROSNo CONSSolid performance at the right price.Works as described.Cable more than ample length.PLUG & PLAY.Originally I bought the IOGEAR 56-in-1 card reader to use with an LG8250 from .... It was disabled by Verizon (from my understanding) causing MP3s to be transferred as SOUND files when using Bluetooth. The phone had been damaged and I cannot verify that it works with the LG8250 but MP3s transfer flawlessly from my Mac to my Motorola Barrage using a MicroSD card.As well, my girlfriend's PC is not Bluetooth capable. We no longer need to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter to tranfer photos between her computer and phone. 5
