Replaced two W-brand off market batteries with these more expensive batteries. The two offbrand batteries swole to a point where they would not fit into the camera. The extra expense is worth having something that works and is dependable. 5

While some generic batteries may work well I want to be sure. Cameras are too expensive to take chances. This battery works great. 5

For years I bought the cheap camera batteries that claimed they were equivalent to the original ones. They never last and you end up recycling them after about a year. Never again! Pay the extra money and buy the camera manufacturer's battery that will last and last and last and not fail when you are ready to take that perfect shot. 5

I've used 3rd party lenses in the past, but if I am going to spend $1000 plus dollars for a camera/lens, I believe it is a good idea to use the best battery available. I do not want to find myself on vacation and the backup battery has issues. Spent the extra few dollars for a good battery. 5
