A: The 2ME Advanced Panel has 20 buttons for selection directly. There is a shift key to assign 20 more sources to those buttons. With button mapping you can assign any of the 40 inputs or some internal sources to any of those 40 keystrokes.

Q: 2. i see a replay button on this device. Can i control the hyperdeck extreme along with an ATEM switcher for instant replay?

A: The Blackmagic Design ATEM 2 M/E Advanced Panel connects via a network connection to ATEM switcher models. The Atem Switchers would have all the inputs and recorder players like the Hyperdeck connected. You would be able to control payback and effects of the Atem Switcher using the control panel.

A: The Blackmagic Design ATEM 4 M/E Advanced Panel could help you work with switchers that support multiple PIPs. However, the Blackmagic Design ATEM 4 M/E Advanced Panel is not a switcher. It is a controller only for Blackmagic Atem switcher models like the ATEM 2ME, 4ME, and Constellation switchers have Supersource which can provide for multiple picture in picture effects.
