A: This is a 2/3" Box Style Lens with a 90x zoom range, that is one of if not the longest zoom ranges available for a lens like this. I am sure it will work well in a studio, but this is the kind of lens you would see more for an outdoor sporting event thanks to its very long telephoto range.

A: Won't arise for me - hood/filter unit is too bulky for case and lens cap wouldn't fit if hood reversed (even if the case would) so I plan to carry the hood with filter attached separately and use as required; I'm also carrying in same small bag a spare battery, remote release, and eyepiece viewfinder.
