A: I am not sure I understand your question exactly, but if you mean:Will your Nikon d7100 be able to auto focus your Pentax lens using this adapter? the answer is, No. If you are asking is this the right adaptor for your pentax AF lens? then Yes. Pentax has not changed their lens mounting type (645A) since the original 645 came out in 1984. They have created the 645A, 645FA, 465FA2... lenses, but the difference is only the addition of autofocus contacts and not the flange distance. If you look up their latest camera the Pentax 645Z the specs say it is compatible with a a 645A style lense. So, all that to say if you are trying to put a Pentax 645 lens on a Nikon F mount then this adaptor will get it done. I purchased the Canon FD to Nikon F adaptor and it works for the most part. I have a few lenses where the back focus is not correct, but other than than it works fine if you don't mind manual focusing.
