While shooting in fast-paced environments, the DSC Labs Front Box One Shot provides an easy color and dynamic-range reference for on-set Digital Imaging Technicians (DITs) and colorists. This matte-finished chart features RGB and CMY color swatches in addition to a range of skin tones as well as black, 18% gray, and white exposure chips. This chart standard is incorporated into DaVinci Resolve for quick color correction with the built-in utility.

A data sheet is provided to help users enjoy the full benefits of the One Shot. Chart output is easily interpreted on familiar waveform and vectorscope displays, or using DaVinci Resolve (available separately).

Broadcast camera presets rarely ensure optimal image reproduction. The OneShot Chart helps users design and produce the consistent "look" they have in mind for a particular production.

Additional larger 18% gray and true white patches on the back provide a greater contrast ratio than a typical matte gray scale chart—important in taking full advantage of today's high dynamic range cameras and reproduction systems.

DSC uses the latest ITU-R BT.709/SMPTE 274M reference primaries in the OneShot and all its test charts. Adjust color to international standards or develop your own unique, repeatable look.

This front box chart offers wide dynamic range. It is lightweight, acrylic-mounted, and includes a protective carrying pouch.

A: This chart is for big budget video productions. At that level you need everything to be operating at top level. This chart will make sure your cameras lenses are calibrated to the highest degree possible. In such a high level big budget situation, the high cost of the chart is chump change when reputations and corporate budgets are on the line. In such a situation you do not want to say to the networks chief technical executive Sorry the cameras look like junk but we got a great deal by using a cheap chart.

A: This color reference test chart will support accurate color management for REC 709 color gamut standard. Please note there is no way to make a chart that supports P3 or REC 2020 today using reflective charts. All DSC labs charts however will allow you to work in P3 or Rec 2020... HDR as well.

This pocket white balancing card is essential. I shoot two camera projects with a Z1 and a V1. The V1 is considerably warmer. I am able to white balance the Z1 with the warm side and the V1 with the true white side to match the cameras. It's saved me a ton of time in post. I'm about to order another one for my A.C. kit. Not to mention the company that manufactures it is readily available and provides great service. 5

If you want to shoot log and don't have the time or budget for a proper color grading session, this is a great tool for getting a solid look with very little work. 5

I needed a big chart for my cameras that are fixed 50 feet from the stage. This chart is 40 inches by 25. I can get this to fill the screens on all my cameras from a distance and not have to move the cameras down to the stage. I comes with a standard light stand adaptor built into the frame. It is made of metal and the frame makes it a bit heavy but it does the job I need done very well. 5

Art Adams did a great job designing this chart. It is easier and quicker to use than a CamAlign, and more useful than a ColorChecker, for example. If you only have one reference chart for video this is probably the best one to have. 5

Excellent product for quick use. Good compact size and easily transportable. It even comes with a lanyard so it can be hung around your neck for immediate use. This version also has a warm side on the back for creating a different ambient. It seems to be made of a hard material. 5
