Add a bright, crisp, wide cinema prime to your Micro Four Thirds camera kit with this 65mm T2.2 Manual Focus Cinema Lens from Meike. The versatile 65mm lens has a 130mm equivalent focal length when used on MFT camera sensors, suitable for high-resolution cameras such as Panasonic Lumix, Olympus, and Blackmagic Design series cameras.

The T2.2 maximum aperture enables working in difficult lighting conditions and offers increased control over depth of field. It features 10 elements in 7 groups for a soft, smooth bokeh, and it features high, sharp contrast with no color aberration, no focus breathing, and very little lens flare. This manual focus and aperture lens permits working with subjects as close as 10" away, and a printed focusing scale on both sides aids with prefocusing techniques.

The durable barrel is constructed of metal and features standard 0.8 MOD cine gears to support a variety of standard follow focus products. It also features a filter thread to allow a 77mm filter to be added.

Q: 3. I use MFT cams these days, but I could shift to S35 or full frame in the near future. Wout it make sense to buy a Meike lense that's EF mount and use a adaptor, instead of going MFT mount? Since the lens will be used fully manual I don't really see what I'm losing by adapting a S35 or full frame lense to my MFT cam? Any input? Thanks!

A: Yes, if you would like to keep the option open for use with a super 35 or full frame sensor, as well as for use with a micro four thirds, it would be advisable to use full frame EF options, when available. However, not always are the same options available for both mounts. For a Meike lens in the 50mm range there are both EF and micro four thirds options available. Typically there would be no difference when used with a well made adapter such as the Metabones T Smart Adapter for Canon EF to Micro Four Thirds. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1182562-REG/metabones_mb_ef_m43_bt2_canon_ef_to_mft.html
