A: The Rosette on the Sony body is fairly strong and will handle the extension arm very well.

Q: 4. does this attach only to a BT top plate, or will it work with other brands like wooden camera?

A: we only recommend it with the Bright Tangerine top plate. while the mount itself is not proprietary we can not guarantee that other manufacturers have the necessary mount in the right spot to enable it to work as intended.

A: The included baseplate, with the SHAPE Baseplate and Articulating Handle for Sony FX6, is the SHAPE REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate, which varies slightly from the Compact Revolt Shoulder Baseplate.

A: This is the C200 Cage with a Top Handle.

Q: 8. I was wanting to know what size this is: the bottom of your cage assembly that fits into your base plate. I can't upload the photo, but it is photo #5 in the pictures. Is it a standard (arca-swiss, etc) of any kind?

A: The bottom of the SHAPE Camera Cage for Sony FX6 has a number of 1/4 20 and 3/8 female screw attachment holes. It's designed so that you can attach the plate style you work with to the bottom of the cage.
