A: SHAPE Remote Extension Handle Kit for Sony PXW-FS7M2 Camera BH #SHRHV2 is not compatible with the Sony FX6. The SHAPE Remote Extension Handle and Cable for Sony FX6 BH #SHFX6RH would be compatible with the Sony FX6.

Q: 2. Are we supposed to unplug the Sony cable from the grip and plug the Shape coiled extension cable instead? When I connect the Shape coiled extension cable to the Sony grip cable, I get this error message on the screen: "an accessory that cannot be used on the grip terminal is connected."

A: The extension cable included with the SHAPE Remote Extension Handle and Cable for Sony FX6 is meant to be an extension cable that the cable on the handle plugs into. Then, the extension cable is plugged into the camera. The extension cable must be plugged all the way in on both sides to prevent any errors from showing up on the camera.

Q: 3. Will this work for the C200 since its standard Rosette on both ends as well?

A: This is designed specifically for the BlackMagic URSA Mini. It may work with other cameras that have standard rosettes, however we do not recommend it.

Q: 4. Could you make it lift handed as well?

A: It cannot. This is for the right side of the camera only.

This will require you to disassemble the factory extension unit from Sony and insert the lower part including the handle into our unit with its push button system.
