I think for me, this camera was worth the upgrade. By comparison, my X-T2 now feels like it's stuck in second gear. The image quality is about the same in terms of resolution, but the color science and processing has changed for the better. I took the camera out on the creek to shoot some waterfowl in flight with my 100-400 and it nailed my moving subjects. Setting the C auto-focus priority using the menu is not as big a deal as some would make it seem. The level customization choices also feels like it's increased about 50%. The extra stiffness of the control dials only took about 30 minutes to adjust to. Now it seems natural (and appreciated). The new S version of the battery is OK, but I am considering getting the optional grip for the extra capacity.


Overall, FujiFilm did a very nice job of upgrading precisely the right feature set, and still brought it in a lower initial price. I have other camera systems, but you'll find the X-T3 hanging on my shoulder all the time.

Coming from the Canon Dynasty, everything was a little disorienting at first. After a day or two, I started to feel the rhythm of this amazing little machine. I say little because, it seems much more compact than my Canon rigs, even with the extra grip (which I highly recommend). As soon as I got comfortable with the buttons and menus, some really stunning images started to happen. Im a convert.

The XT-3 has inspired me to get out and take pics. It’s so much fun to use. The vintage feel is a fun factor yet. This is a camera I can grow with. And I love the quality of the pics right out of the camera. The Oleg EVF is incredible.

I have found this camera outstanding. Its a huge package crammed into a small frame. It weighs just over half of my former NIKON D850 and has all of the most important features. Im impressed!

I am a former XT2 owner.  (also purchased from BH)  If you love the XT2, youll love the XT3.  Nothing earth shattering but just a tad extra polish to just about every aspect of the old camera. Both are excellent and capable in the right hands.  Shipped fast and packaged well.

I rented the X-T3 to see if this was the one for me, and by golly, it ticked off all the boxes. A genuine joy to use, you don’t feel like you’re fighting the menus to change your settings. The top control layout reminds me of my old Canon AE-1, and for the first time in a long time I feel like I’m enjoying photography again. The small size and lightweight design feels good on my arthritis and CTS-damaged hands. Oh, and the image quality is amazing. I picked up the 23mm and 50mm f/2 lenses as well, small, but potent. I love being able to fit all my gear in a backpack and have it weigh less than one of my old DSLR bodies!

Of course excellent still images but the video updates are incredible. Best video of any APS-C camera? I think so. Loving it.
