The black Selador Desire D60 Lustr+ LED Fixture with TwistLock Connector  from ETC combines 60 Luxeon Rebel LED emitters in one unit, to provide powerful, high-intensity light output. This round, PAR-shaped washlight is well-suited for stage, studio and anywhere brightness and color flexibility are required.

It comes with the Lustr+ color array that uses the premise of the x7 Color System to create lush white and subtly tinted light that can be adjusted to naturally illuminate on-stage talent or scenery. The x7 luminaires blend up to 7 LED hues to provide a nearly unlimited number of color mixes. You get additional options from the Adaptive Control System built into the luminaire. You select the DMX profile such as Calibrated HSI, Calibrated RGB, Calibrated HSIC, Studio, or Direct, and your luminaire adapts its color and functionality to each application. You have additional control with the Plus 7 setting, which allows you to tweak each LED color individually, and the fixture’s Red Shift function imitates the fade of a tungsten source.

The Selador x7 Color System produces a wide range of spectrally balanced, saturated, and tinted color choices that will satisfy even the discerning theatrical lighting designer. A rugged, die-cast enclosure, noiseless fan-cooled operation, multiple lens options, and advanced user interface make this fixture suitable for multiple applications

The luminaire features a user interface with Quick Setup options to simplify work. You can choose from Stage, High-Impact, XT (Exterior)/Architectural, General and Studio settings to customize the luminaire to your specific task. You can further tailor the fixture to your needs by choosing profile and performance settings via the user interface. The luminaire can be controlled from a DMX-enabled controller, like an ETC lighting control console, or can be run on its own by selecting the Stand Alone Mode on the unit.

I bought two of these for a blacklight fitness class, and I thought they were great for the price. Would definitely purchase these again. Also super fast shipping from B&H.

LEDs seem to be replacing everything lately but I think they often fall short at reproducing the same effects of the lights they are replacing. Fluorescent black lights are still the best and this one is great. And ADJ’s support is excellent.

I bought these for both events and mobile DJ applications since they are battery operated (no searching for power, fast set-up) and the price is definitely right. These lights are great over-all...they are solid (heavy, but not too heavy), and they put out a ton of light for their size. I recently used them at a wedding event and they were still going after 8 hours of use (in fade mode). The only fault I have with these is that the menu on the back of the fixture is LED based and the abbreviations are confusing and not as intuitive as Blizzard's other products. I found a very easy work-around though, and that's to simply use the included remote. That makes setting these up VERY simple...you can choose a color, or a fade/sound active, with full control of brightness/speed right from the remote. Each fixture includes one remote (I got 8 fixtures), so I have plenty of spares if I need them. If you are looking for something with full wireless DMX control I would look elsewhere, but as far as a simple battery powered light I have not seen anything that can beat these for the money.

After looking for blacklights to use during my DJing gigs I finally settled on this one. I have had it for quite a while now and it is great. At all the parties I have DJ'd it has been a big hit. I would totally buy this again if I needed it but as of right now one is enough and it has been holding up great!

Got a couple of these on a Deal Zone and now just bought a third. One came broken in shipping but was quickly replaced. They are solid yet not too heavy. I use these in my video booth and also for video production when I need color washes for backgrounds or lighting effects. The fact that they can run off battery is the main reason I got them because they are so easy to set up.

Customer support at Blizzard was also fast and helpful when being a newbie I didn't realize the power cords had to be TWISTED to lock in addition to being connected in order to charge. That is probably common to DJ lighting but I didn't know. I thought you just plugged them in like a normal piece of equipment.

The best way to use them is the included remote (includes battery) because it's difficult to understand the abbreviated display screen on the light itself. But the remote is really easy to do what you want.

Looking forward to lots of great uses for these lights!
