The white Selador Desire D60 Studio HD LED Luminaire with TwistLock Connector from ETC uses high-output, white light LEDs to create a suitable fixture for video, film, and other white light only applications where color temperature and skin-tone rendering are critical.

The luminaire offers a rugged, die-cast enclosure, quiet, fan-cooled operation, multiple lens options, and an advanced user interface that enables easy configuration and specific features for video and film professionals.

The fixture can be configured to operate under control of a studio lighting control desk or via stand-alone, no console required settings for location lighting. The D60 Studio HD uses the patented x7 Color System, mixing 5 colors with 2 different white LEDs to create brilliant HD white light with higher color-rendering qualities. It combines warm white and cool white LEDs for variable color temperature mixing. Added to this are 5 carefully chosen LED colors from the Selador x7 Color System to fill in the white LED spectral gaps.

The D60 Studio HD provides a rich variable white light possible in an LED fixture. The Luminaire comes with a hanging yoke, a 25° secondary lens, and 1.5m PowerCON to TwistLock power cable.

The fixture uses Luxeon Rebel ES emitters specified by the strictest binning standards. However, on-camera LED response varies with different cameras and settings.

A: The power converter that came with my unit is rated for 85 - 260v input. Works fine on 240v for me.

A: No, the ETC ColorSource Spot V Light Engine with Shutter Barrel (Black) does not come with a lens tube.

Q: 8. Can you turn this on the side so the top is open for shooting down onto your product (vs shooting straight on)?

A: You could turn it on its side. The lights are fixed to the top, so if rotated they would then be on the side.

Am very happy with product. I get pictures of metal statues up to 20 in tall. I was able to flatten out the color inserts in two days. They are easily attached to main frame. 5

Love this product should have bought it years ago. I do not understand the negative comment on size. Dont you know how to crop and edit? Hot lights? LEDs, come on. Just received this yesterday and have already shot several products and they are sent to the client. Sets up in no time at all, perfect box for shooting in studio or onsite. 5

Easy to...set-up, use & breakdown. Particularly handy to take on the road. One note to manufacturer, add an additional scrim with hole cut in center. Just a consideration! 5

This item was soooo easy to assemble and break down when I was don't taking my photos. I do wish the plug in was a little bit longer but that is the only complaint. The LEDS are very bright and the included color back drops are fabulous. This is my first light studio I have ever used and It made it so easy for me to figure it out and immediately start taking wonderful product photography!! 5

Easy to setup and easy to use...just took me a few minutes to figure out that the power supply was tucked into one of the panels, and then, that there was a separate on/off switch on the cord itself. Once I got past the rookie mistakes, it was very easy to setup, break down and store in same box it was shipped in. 5

this was easy to assemble and straightforward to use. The 28 size, if you have the space, is versatile allowing for some nice object arrangements. I notice some reflections in my images from the overhead lights but now that Ive installed the diffusing element, it should take care of that. If you need consistent lighting for object photography this is a great purchase. Really does feel like a mini-photo studio in a box. Does require photo editing to remove seams but that is to be expected. All in all -- good, functional item that does the trick! Ive uploaded a recent example of a subtle example of how well the product works. 5

Nice and compact with quick easy setup. Great light coverage with both intensity and coverage (evenness). Backgrounds are fine once you weight them down for a week to get them unrolled. Very happy with product for product shoots. 5
