Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this paper load into an Epson P800 with the roll paper feeder?

A: Yes, the Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305 Paper (17" x 50' Roll) should work with the Epson Roll Media Adapter for the SureColor P800.

Q: 2. what is the mil thickness

A: The thickness of that paper is 10.27 mil.

Q: 3. Do you have any problems loading this in a Pro-100 printer ? Heavier Hahnemuhle gloss Baryta 320 will not load with the manual feed

A: Should be no problem at all if you feed it in the manual rear feed even for the Baryta 320. Just be sure to feed it straight in with both hands by pushing it lightly & the printer will automatically grab it.

Q: 4. how to know the emulsion side? are there any notches and if so, what side should they be on the film holder?

A: The CatLABS X Film 80 II Black and White Negative Film (4 x 5", 25 Sheets) has a notch on every sheet. The notch is on the lower left or upper right corner when the emulsion is facing you.

Q: 5. Should this canvas be varnished after printing?

A: Unless its behind glass, yes it should be protected from scratches and UV by several coats of clear finish. Some like Eco Print Shield by Premier Art are water soluble and are put on by a dense cell roller. I use three coats typically 2 Matte coats and a Satin final coat. Only the last coat determines whether it ends up glossy, matte or satin. The coats dry quickly in about 20mins each. The canvas can be stretched after it is coated.

Q: 6. Does this have optical brighteners in it?

A: The Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique II has a very low OBA content.

Q: 7. Can this paper be used with an Epson R2880 printer?

A: Yes. I have done so. Very good.

Q: 8. What kind of chemistry do i need to Enlarge with this Paper for an Art Show?

A: This paper can be developed with traditional black and white darkroom chemistry for black and white prints.

Q: 9. Is the notch on the top right when the emulsion is facing you?

A: Yes. The notch is on the top right of the CatLABS X Film 80 II Black and White Negative Film (4 x 5", 25 Sheets) if the emulsion is facing you.

Q: 10. Hi, will this roll fit on the Canon pro 4000 large format printer?

A: Yes, this roll is made for this and all other 44" Wide Format Ink Head based roll fed printers.
