A: Yes and also to conserve the ink on your CP1200, simply insert the ink/silk cartridge while the Printer is ON and when finished printing take the ink/silk cartridge out of the CP1200 printer when done before turning the printer off.

They make beautiful prints. Although my 2400 is getting a little long in the tooth by electronic equipment standards, it still does a great job. The K3 inks have always produced great results. During long periods of unused, I have had some clogging issues, so it's important to run a test page every week or so. It uses very little ink and can be done on plain paper, and it's a lot less hassle and uses a lot less ink than trying to unclog a nozzle. That said, the clogging is the only complaint I've had about these inks, and it's a problem easily avoided. I have prints that I've had hanging on the wall for 10 or 12 years, and there is absolutely no noticeable fading. Great product. 5

My older flatbed printers (Epson) have never had to try to operate with any other brand ink - love that I can get the cartridges I need - won't review the other cartridges - this could be repeated across the full spectrum for this printer (Epson 3800 Pro). Pull dates indicate fresh ink! 5

I am not a professional--just a hobbyist. However, I do have a pretty discriminating eye for detail and color. I have an older Epson R2400 printer and while it goes through ink and a somewhat disturbing rate, I can safely say from my perspective that I have no doubts about the consistently or quality of the UltraChrome inks used. Depending, of course, on the paper I can get really sublime results and the colors are reproduced with substantial accuracy to what I see on-screen (I say substantial because my monitor is not 100% a professional one, so I don't get the complete color space a much more expensive monitor would render.) 5
