Q: 9. This backlight paper is listed as 7 mil. on the cut sheet and 4 mil in the spec. what is the factual mil thickness?. Thank you

A: The package I bought cites 7 Mil. I put a very tired micrometer on a sheet and I'd say that is correct. Certainly closer to 7 than to 4 mil.I have to add that I was never able to get reasonable saturation or density in my prints (SureColor P800 with Epson pigment ink. I got a far better result printing on glossy paper (without watermark on the back) and backlighting that. I don't remember if I put the ink side in or out.

A: The Microcare Solutions Laser & Inkjet Printer Cleaning Paper size is 8.5" x 11". Since that is the case, it will not clean the whole path of the Epson P800 that has a 17" width.

Nice paper, smooth surface, not too shiny.

I have been using this paper for my photo exhibitions for years. It works exceptionally well for both color and monochrome prints. The surface while glossy is a subdued gloss that with the texture makes my work gets noticed and helps me get more work.

Epson's Exhibition Fiber is really the top of the line for me when printing images on semi-gloss papers. I'll use Epson's Premium Luster when printing on a budget or perhaps with test prints, and use the Exhibition Fiber when I want the upmost quality with deep blacks and bright whites. It's more delicate than Luster, so you do need to be careful in terms of not scratching an image or ensuring that dust isn't present before printing, but it's worth the extra care.

I have reviewed the larger size exhibition fiber paper and I have to confirm my other reviews. It is an exceptional paper for both color and monochrome. My go to paper for exhibitions and professional work

I am a big fan of Epson's Premium Luster paper. Of the prints I have made with Exhibition Fiber so far, some are very similar to Luster but others, the more demanding prints, are a noticeable improvement. I would describe the colors as not more saturated but more vivid than the Luster prints. Also the transitions between colors and shades seems smoother. I really like the weight of the paper, its much heavier than Luster. That makes it easier to handle and mount regardless of the method I choose. The surface is not as glossy as Luster. It reminds me of the old black and white chemical prints where we air dried glossy paper. A very smooth surface. I think its going to be my new favorite Epson paper.

This has become my go-to paper for most of my work. It has the feel that clients are looking for, while it displays colors in a rich, vibrant way. It's been perfect for wedding prints, exhibiting my personal work, and is affordable enough for me to keep my prices competitive. There are a few times that Epson's Luster has yielded a slightly better result, but that has been exceptionally rare. Honestly, I can't rate this high enough; if not because I like it, because the clients who pay me LOVE it. Btw, it handles B&W as well as anything I've used yet on my 3880.

I love this paper; the resulting images are beautiful. There has been a known issue for some time with this particular paper though. I've been working with this paper for years. For each box I order, there are at least 5 or 6 that have black spots on them. They often occur in the area where one would have a border, so it makes the paper unusable. Epson is aware of this issue. After having the problem recur with every single box I've purchased, I started saving the unacceptable papers, calling Epson and arranging for an exchange.
