A: The shelves are made of particle board.

A: They cannot be moved out of their position. Only the overall height can be changed.

Q: 7. Can this accommodate an 17" Asus ROG Laptop?

A: Yes it will accommodate a 17" ASUS ROG notebook.

Q: 8. how much weight can it support?

A: I did not find a spec for Max weight, But I have used one with my laptop, it weighs a little over 4 lbs. no problem, could easily support more.

Love it so far. I put papers and clipboard on the middle shelf, power adapters on the bottom shelf, keyboard/notepad on keyboard tray and laptop on the top. Very efficient design. 5

Very sturdy desk! Easy to operate and works perfectly. Nice large platform to sit monitors on. It is very deep and might be a problem depending on the space. The measurements are provided, but I didn't expect the depth. Overall, I LOVE it and it's a great value! 5

Just as the headline says, this desk is amazing for the price. Well constructed and EASY to assemble. My only advice to prospective buyers would be to avoid this product if you are 6ft or taller. I'm 6ft and it only works for me because my desk is taller than my co-workers. If it weren't for that, this desk would be a little too short for me. 5
