This version of the lav is equipped with a more sensitive mic capsule, which requires less gain and is optimized for broadcast applications. The Series8 CO-8WLh's omnidirectional polar pattern allows for a variety of mic placement options as it picks up the voice from all directions equally and doesn't need to be lined up with the mouth. The mic offers an IP57 rating, which protects it against water, sweat, and makeup, commonly harmful to microphones. 

This kit configuration of the microphone includes a wide variety of useful mounting and wind-reduction accessories, some in multiple colors, along with two interchangeable X-Connectors: one with a 3.5mm TRRS connector for mobile devices, and a second with a TA4F connector for Shure and Line 6 wireless systems.

A: The MVL lavalier is designed specifically for smartphone use and unfortunately would not be compatible with the input on a camera or portable recorder.

A: It is compatible with Mobile Phones or Tablets only and not designed for use with DSLR cameras or camcorders.

A: No, the Shure A15HP does not block phantom power and it does allow phantom power to pass through so it can be used with condenser microphones as well as dynamic microphones.

A: It should not color the sound. Customer reviews mention that it is clean and does not compromise the sound. It is an effective tool for reducing unwanted low frequencies that create noise in the signal.

A: The Ikelite High Sensitivity Optical Slave Converter is ONLY compatible with Ikelite DS series strobes. This slave trigger plugs into the sync cord port on Ikelite DS strobes. All current Sea & Sea strobes have a built-in optical slave trigger so there is no need for a optical slave converter

A: The Shure MXWAPT2 2-Channel Access Point Transceiver with ANIUSB-MATRIX USB Audio Network Interface BH #SHWAPT2Z10US includes a mounting plate. It may be possible to mount it to a 4 x 4 electrical junction box. We do not recommend any modifications of this product however.

A: Yes, the Shure A15HP In-Line High Pass Filter can be used for line level signal. Even though its main use is for microphones, the A15HP can also be used for other audio applications to reduce low frequencies below 100 Hz.
