Our Dell Inspiron 17 5767 laptop had a one T HD and booted/ran slow. I cloned the old drive onto the 860 EVO, opened the laptop and swapped the HD for the SSD. Now it runs faster. I only had one little screw left over after closing the case, success. 5

Not sure why I didn't do this before, but I kept running out of space on my laptop. Upgrading was simple and fast using Samsung's migration tool.. The Samsung SSD I replaced with this worked flawlessly so I hope this one does too.. So far so good!! 5

I'm not a computer technology related person. I only installed the drive as backup storage, so, that may have made the installation easier. I followed a YouTube video. I installed it in a Dell desktop computer. It was going to be quite difficult to get the SSD into a drive bay, so, I Velcroed it to another SSD that I had already Velcroed to a solid object inside the computer. I suggest you watch a good video and inspect the inside of your computer before deciding to undertake the installation. Be sure to order a SATA cable with the SSD. It makes saving and loading my 45+ mega pixel photos and working with Photoshop much faster. 5

I currently have 6 of these SSDs in various sizes and have never had one issue from them. This is my 1st terabyte drive, but as expected, it performed just like the others. If you compare these Samsung SSDs with everyone else's specs you cannot beat the read/write speeds and price/Gb that these drives offer 5

I love these SSD's. They're small, easy to handle and install. Love all that capacity, and I love the speedy backups. I now have two of these in a high speed box, using one for photos, one for docs. I have one more in an another external enclosure, that is my backup. When I do a backup of each drive, they just zip on through it, like I've never been able to do before (using Super Duper software). Thanks, Samsung, for all the open time you've added to my day! 5
