When you take to the field after dark to manage hog and predator populations, the Hogster Stimulus 2.3-4.6x19 Thermal Weapon Sight from Bering Optics will make sure you can see your targets. The 256 x 192 thermal sensor can detect a running hog 660 yards away, and you'll see everything on the 1280 x 960 LCOS display in your choice of black, white, red, or colored hot palettes. You have four reticles to select from, each of which can be displayed in four colors, so you'll see clearly in a wide range of ambient light conditions. Maximum magnification (optical plus digital) is 4.6x, affording a good look at targets downrange. Useful onboard tools include a stadiametric rangefinder, an inclinometer, and a blind pixel repair function. You have precise manual control of image sharpness, screen brightness, and contrast, as well as the focus of the Germanium glass objective lens.

The sight has a quick release mount for Picatinny rails and uses two CR123A batteries (8 hours of runtime) or a user-supplied external USB Type-C power supply. This weapon sight is shockproof, IP67-rated dust and waterproof, and nitrogen-purged for fog-free performance.

The ease of operation and quick set up sold me on this softbox . When you think that the ProFoto A1 series and C1plus were designed for quick lighting situations, you'll see how the clic softbox marries so well with the dynamic of quality and "on the go" quick lighting situations. Definitely worth the price for quality and convenience. 5

I have been lugging around my D2s and softbox for on location shoots, but no more! The quality of light and ease of set up with this softbox and the A1s is truly exceptional. The magnet attachment sets up in less than a second. The only drawback is that the profoto clickgels don't work with this...because they aren't magnetized, hopefully this will be updated. This sofbox is a game changer. 5

I've worked with many different softboxes and all kinds of modifiers, and this is the best combination of speed and quality of light that I've ever used. I still smile when I set it up because it's so much quicker than every other softbox out there! I use this on a Profoto A1, and the light this combination produces is beautifully soft. Perfect for on-the-go headshots, as well as product and food setups. 5

This softbox sets up in literally 2 seconds and is extremely lightweight. It couldn't be easier! I'm in love! Perfect for grabbing or setting up quickly on the go. You CAN use Clic gels with this. Simply click them to the inside of the speed ring before you assemble the softbox. Do not put them between your A-series light and the softbox. The only downside of this softbox is it is possible (though not likely) for the light to fall due to only be held on by magnets. It probably isn't possible, I would have loved to see some sort of safety guard like the MagBox has. For additional safety in certain situations, you may wish to mount the light to a stand and then have the lower consequence softbox be the thing held by the magnets. I wish Profoto made something this easy for OCF! It's pricey, but worth every penny. 5

I got the Clic Softbox for the A10 instead of the OCF adapter with free OCF softbox recently promoted by Profoto because I wanted a simpler set up with less pieces. I realize the OCF adapter is a simple and easy to use set up, but with that I'd have to carry at least two items (the adapter and separate modifier) plus a light stand. What I like about the Clic Softbox is that it's all in one and pops open like an umbrella. It folds away quickly. I can hold it in one hand if I want to. I realize I am limited to the softbox as a modifier for the A10 but I am fine with that. For the kind of shooting I do, it is more than enough. If I want something different I can mount any of my umbrellas to the A10. I also like that the Clic Softbox is designed specifically for the A10. I could be wrong but I have my doubts that the A10 would have enough power to work well with the larger OCF modifiers. I will save my OCF modifiers for my B10. In short I love my A10 and I love the Clic Softbox and I feel it was the right choice vs the OCF adapter. Having the portability has made it easier than ever to shoot in locations away from home whereas before I would never have dragged my lighting gear anywhere. The A10 and the Clic softbox make a perfect combination. Not to mention the light quality from the combination is stunning. I hope Profoto comes out with more magnet mounted modifiers just for the A10. 5

I really like the soft box, it's well made, light, portable and gives good light output when paired with my A1X. However, it's expensive! Excellent clamshell setup when using with another soft box or beauty dish. Looking forward to using it on location. 5
