A: Depends on your level of humidity, and if you put your printer near heat sources like riser pipes, radiators, or direct sunlight, and how long you've owned it. Most people don't experience problems in their first year of warrantied ownership. An especially dry apartment is also not good; consistently under 25% humidity. The engineers recommend to leave the printer plugged in and turned on, and it should wake from sleep and do trickle cleanings periodically. To keep the printer flowing do nozzle checks and cleanings using plain paper once every month or every month and a half.

But you can create individual loooong prints - like a banner or panorama - by pre-cutting whatever you need off of a roll of paper and feeding it into the printer from the top (just let it hang down the back, up a wall behind the printer, or even flop down in front of the printer. But if you hoping to use a continuous roll as in a pro-type setup, that cannot be done.
