It is constructed of durable steel and can be attached right side up or upside down, depending on your camera configuration. There are convenient openings in the mount for cabling to feed through. I was a bit skeptical when I had to order a universal L bracket for my Leica SL2S. I thought I would give it a try. I'm very happy to report that it fits perfectly adjust to the proper size. All access doors are unobstructed. well I thought $140 was a little much, with fit like this I believe it was worth it. 5

This bracket works with the screen of my wife's Sony A7C. Compared to the Niceyrig bracket with a portrait dovetail cutout, the MC-LS offers a solid ARCA portrait dovetail and does not extend over the battery compartment. My wife found the Niceyrig cutout does not substantially add to screen utility and prefers the better security of the MC-LS portrait dovetail. 5
